If you skipped a profile by swiping left or tapping the left arrow, it's easy to find it again. Just go to your Likes list then tap the 3 dot menu icon on the top right. You'll find the skipped list there.
You can also try searching in Gallery Mode which always includes all profiles even if you've skipped them. To activate gallery mode, go to 'Search Settings' and toggle on Gallery Mode.
