How do I manage my subscription ?

Easy to renew/cancel/manage your subscription at any time

JWed makes it especially easy for a member to manage/cancel/renew their subscription at any time.

(see additional information on auto-renew at bottom)

Unlike many other online dating services, no phone calls or emails necessary.

On the JWed website, simply follow these simple steps:

1. Log into your account

2. Click on "Account" menu bar

3. Click on drop-down menu bar and "'Your Subscription"

From there, you'll be able to easily see your renewal settings, check your current payment status, and cancel renewals if you wish.

**Please note, you'll lose any discounted rates if you choose to cancel; and you will need to pay full price if you need to ever upgrade again in the future.

You'll see the option to cancel right there. You can also email [email protected] for help with cancelling.

However, if you paid inside the JWed app, cancellation must be made via Apple or Google. Apple and Google have full control over billing. We cannot cancel for you.

Instructions for iPhone / Apple

If you subscribed to JWed Match using your Apple ID, cancellation is handled directly through Apple.

  1. Go to 'Settings' app on your iOS device.

  2. Scroll down and tap 'iTunes Store and AppStore'

  3. Tap your e-mail and Apple ID

  4. Tap View Apple ID.

  5. Log in if it asks you to.

  6. Scroll down to Subscriptions and tap Manage.

  7. Select JWed Match and set the auto-renewal slider to Off or select Unsubscribe.

If the option to turn off auto-renewal is not displayed here, you may have already chosen to turn it off, canceling future charges. If that's the case, you should be able to see the end date of your subscription on this screen.

Note: After canceling your subscription, you will be able to use paid services for the remaining of the 30 days that you have already paid for. When your subscription expires, it will not be renewed. You can opt back in at any time. Canceling your subscription will not retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously charged subscription fees cannot be prorated based on cancellation date. Deleting the app and/or your account does not cancel your subscription.

If you subscribed to JWed App using Google Play, cancellation is handled directly through Google Play.


JWed includes the auto-renew (auto renew) service as the default setting as a convenience to users and to maximize the success rate and marriage count.

Auto-renew is a service that automatically charges your credit card every 30 days in order to maintain your subscription. When you upgrade, auto-renew is active until or unless you cancel.

Why auto-renew?

Because our service is unique in that subscribers are highlighted and Free members cannot read messages, your profile will likely be completely ignored once it loses its Subscriber status.

A significant number of our success stories occurred when a member got distracted with other life responsibilities, forgot to visit the website, but then received a message from someone weeks or months later. Without auto-renew, this would never happen.

There is an even more important reason why we encourage auto-renew by making it the default setting. Getting married isn't easy and we don't claim that 3,700+ marriages makes it easy.

It's easy to get frustrated and give up within days or weeks of using the service but success often takes time. While a few members have had success soon after joining, many had to go through a frustrating time-consuming process. By making auto-renew an automatic convenience (and by offering discounts for longer-term plans), the user has a reason to not give up on the process prematurely.

Simply put, if we didn't have auto-renew, the large majority of our marriages would have never occurred.
